The library render 9 hours of service daily from Monday to Friday and 8 hours on Saturdays during school days.
Mondays through Fridays: 08:00 AM – 06:00 PM
Saturdays: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM

RULES OF CONDUCT

In order to perform its functions to the satisfaction of all students the library needs to have the following rules:

•SILENCE and proper decorum must be observed at all times in the library.
•CELLULAR PHONES must be SWITCH OFF/SILENT while inside the library.
•SMOKING, EATING, DRINKING, SLEEPING and CHARGING PHONES are not allowed.
•Chairs must be pushed back against the table after using and should not be transferred from one place to another.
•The library should be kept clean and orderly. DO NOT LOITER.
•Books in the reading areas should not be returned to their shelves but left on the table to avoid their being misplaced.

Anyone violating these rules is first warned by the library staff in charge at the time of the offense. If the conduct continues, the offender will be ordered to leave the premises. Library Staff at their discretion will expel library users without a warning in situations of serious, threatening or willfully malicious behavior.

RULES ON BORROWING LIBRARY MATERIALS

•Reference Books may be borrowed for three (3) days, and renewable for another two (2) days unless needed by another students.
•Reserved Books may be borrowed for an hour subject to renewal if not in demand and for library use only.
•Fiction Books may be borrowed for five (5) days renewable for another three (3) days if not in demand by other users.
•Books with 1 or 2 copies should not be borrowed for overnight or for week use. Even books with 3-5 copies cannot be borrowed for overnight or for week use if in demand.
•A week before the scheduled final examination, books can no longer borrowed for home use.
•The following materials to be read only in the library within their designated:
o Filipiniana Books
o General Reference – such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, books in sets, etc.
o Periodicals – such as Newspapers, Magazines and Journals.
•Students are allowed to borrow a maximum of three (3) books at a time.

STEPS IN BORROWING BOOKS

•Students should present VALIDATED SCHOOL ID together with their Library Card.
•Students should fill up the book card with their name (written legibly), course and year.

FINES AND PENALTIES

•FOR OVERDUE BOOKS:
o Minor Reference Books – a fine of Php 10.00 a day including Sundays and Holidays.
o Major Reference Books – a fine of Php 20.00 a day including Sundays and Holidays.
o Fiction Books - a fine of Php 5.00 a day including Sundays and Holidays.
o A fine of Php 10.00 will be charged for unreturned Reserved Books, Filipiniana and General References and Periodical materials borrowed for photocopying use.
•LOST BOOKS must be reported immediately to Circulation Counter. Students who lost their borrowed books are obliged to replace the book with the same title, author and copyright. Damaged books has to be replaced.
•Habitual Delinquency – students who are frequently late in returning books and wilfully disregard library regulations is punishable by suspension of the privilege to borrow library materials after due process.
•Mutilating and Stealing – students caught stealing and mutilating library properties are recommended for expulsion from the school.
