Abstract
Educational Technology I covers core concepts on educational technology that are both traditional and nontraditional. It tackles educational technology at present without neglecting how it began as a discipline. This book introduces the learners to educational technology and how it relates to pedagogy. It also provides a room for individual and collaborative, tasks and leads the learners to reflective thinking.

This textbook covers the basic principles in the selection, use, and development of educational technologies and instructional materials. It provides the end users with brilliant ideas as regards how technology may be effectively and efficiently integrated in classroom instruction. It is hoped that this will serve as a potent vehicle for understanding how technology has influenced the educative process and every aspect of the future.

This material offers a good number of lessons, 15 in all, that start with a statement of learning outcomes and proceeds with the concepts to learn, key takeaways, and questions to ask. Inputs follow and in between are reflection questions for students to ponder on. In each lesson, the students will have to complete learning tasks that allow them to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson, their ability to digest information, and their competency in performing and accomplishing relevant learning activities. Each lesson ends with a writing activity that prods students to further reflect on their own learning.
