Abstract

This module is a collective output of the instructors of the Chemistry Department, Trinity University of Asia to suit the changing curriculum and the type of students who Will be usingthis textbook. Today, chemistry is a must in many areas ef study, therefore, it is basic course in most curriculum. It is a central science to other health related disciplines such as physiology, anatomy, microbiology, pharmacology, therapeutics, nutrition, introduction to medical science and various chemical subjects. Knowledge of chemistry will increase the student's understanding of the world that they live in, will give answers to some problems concerning energy crisis and the control of environmental pollution. This will awaken their being to let them see the relevance of chemistry to their everyday life.
