This book on Becoming a 21st Century Educational Leader is a sharing of the precipitate of four to six decades of leadership and management experiences, both direct and vicarious, of three authors, who shared their aspirations, hopes, dreams and proposals as members of the Teacher Education Council, Technical Panel for Teacher Education of the Commission on Higher Education and the Board for Professional Teachers, Professional Regulation Commission and Technical Working Groups of K to 12. One of the three authors has an institutional memory of the Department of Education. It offers effective educational practices of high performing countries and high performing schools here and abroad. It comes at a time when the country introduced the K to 12 Curriculum which certainly needs transformational and “learning” leaders who are expected to radically transform the performance of schools divisions and basic education schools.
